  2. Using the Snap To Option for the Grid and Guide Lines

  4. If you want objects to snap to the nearest grid or guide line when they are drawn or moved, you can use the Snap To option.

  6. Step 1
  7. Choose Rulers, Grid & Guides from the Layout menu.
  8.  
  9. Step 2
  10. Click the Snap To check box under the Grid or Guides heading, then click OK.

  12. Step 3
  13. To turn off the Snap To option, return to the Rulers, Grid & Guides dialog, click the Snap To check box again, then click OK.

  15. Note: You can use the Snap To option with the grid display on or off, however guide lines must be displayed when using the Snap To option.
